Review (English)

Dark God, a band from the north of Chile, achieved the record of this masterpiece of the Chilean underground in 1991, one year after its formation, which comes with three typical cuts of a school where influences such as Merciless, Sadus, Bathory, among others can be appreciated.

Attack of Demon’s is the first track of the demo, which manages to show at first glance, that we are in front of a masterpiece. It is demonized, full of aggressiveness and darkness, showing all the speed and brutality of his deceased drummer Claudio Candia. The voice comes from the bowels of a beast, with a voice different from the common ones, which goes hand by hand with the speed of the music. We can also listen to musician’s voices  in situ, during the performance which makes this recording live,  without any editing.

Then on side B, the Dark God machine shoots with Perdition of the Life, a song that stands out for the content of many shades of brutality and pauses, worthy of an old Doom Death Metal that stops the beats for a while to later retake the brutality and acceleration at a thousand per hour that results in a bump in the skull. This cult ceremony ends with the theme and instrumental called Dark God that has everything: brutality, aggressiveness, acoustic harmonies, in short, a work deserving of a place within the Great Works of National Metal. This deluxe format and classic Vinyl 7” inches has a limited edition of 300 copies, it comes in a folder type presentation with spine and inlay, with unpublished photos of the time, achieving as a result a priceless cult piece.

Dark God banda del norte de Chile logra el registro de esta pieza maestra del underground chileno en 1991 a una año de su formación, que viene con 3 cortes propios de una escuela en donde podemos apreciar influencias como Merciless, Sadus, Bathory, entre otros.

Attack of Demon’s es el primer track del demo, que lograr alcanzar a la primera mirada que Estamos enfrente de una pieza maestra, es endemoniado lleno de agresividad y oscuridad, aflora toda la rapidez y brutalidad de su fallecido baterista Claudio Candia. La voz sale de las entrañas de una bestia, con un timbre distinto a lo común, que va a la par con la velocidad de la música.   También podemos escuchar insitu voces en el ambiente de los propios músicos durante la ejecución lo que hace que esta grabación sea en directo sin ninguna edición.

Luego en la cara B, los Dark God ametrallan con Perdition of the Life, una canción que destaca por El contenido de muchos matices de brutalidad y pausas, dignos de un viejo Doom Death Metal que detiene las pulsaciones por un momento para después retomar la brutalidad y aceleración a mil por hora que da como resultado un batacazo en el cráneo. Termina esta ceremonia de culto con el tema e instrumental llamado Dark God que tiene de todo: brutalidad, agresividad, armonías acústicas, en fin un trabajo merecedor a un lugar dentro de las Grandes obras del Metal Nacional.   Este formato de lujo y clásico Vinyl 7” pulgadas tiene una edición limitada de 300 copias, trae una presentación tipo carpeta con lomo y inlay, con fotos inéditas de la época, logrando como resultado una pieza de culto invaluable.
