DARK GOD “ATTACK OF DEMON’S” Demo Reh 1991 Vinyl 7” Format
Dark God, a band from the north of Chile, released this masterpiece of the Chilean underground in 1991, one year after its formation, it contains 3 own tracks where we can appreciate influences such as Merciless, Sadus, Bathory, among others.
Attack of Demon’s is the first track of the demo, in this it is appreciated at first glance that we are in front of a masterpiece, demonized full of aggressiveness and darkness, all the speed and brutality of its late drummer Claudio Candia emerges.
The voice emerges from the entrails of a beast, with a different timbre than usual, which goes hand in hand with the speed of the music, we can also appreciate insitu voices in the environment of the musicians themselves during the performance, which makes this recording is live without any editing.
Then on side B, Dark God strafed with Perdition of the Life, a song that stands out for the musical structure that presents many nuances between brutality and progressive overtones, characteristic of old-school Doom Death Metal that stops the beats for a moment to then resume the brutality and speed that results in a hit to the skull.
The cult ceremony ends with the instrumental theme Dark God, which contains everything: brutality, aggressiveness and harmonies, in short, a work worthy of a place within the great works of Chilean metal.
This luxury and classic 7” inch Vinyl format has a limited edition of 300 copies, it brings a folder-like presentation with unpublished photos of the time, achieving as a result an invaluable cult piece.
